Housebound Service

 

The Housebound Service is available to Invercargill City residents and ratepayers who are permanently or temporarily housebound due to illness or disability.

Prospective housebound customers are interviewed in their place of residence to asses their needs by the Housebound Librarian.

Housebound customers have access to all the collections, these resources are issued for a maximum period of 8 weeks.

Where possible it is recommended that a family member or friend assist with delivery and return of the selection.Alternatively, the librarian has a list of volunteers to call on if required.
This is a free service.
