'The Zillah Rebellion' is the second book in the trilogy about best friends, Katie Jenner and Zillah Treliske. Like the first book, it is set in Cornwall and has a great story line: their small town is in danger of having the only school turned into a hotel and also a caravan park being erected, which could effect Zillah and Katie's homes dramatically, possibly even making one of them homeless...
'The Lilac Tree' (the first book in the trilogy) was a great book, introducing us to the characters and uncovering secrets, and 'The Zillah Rebellion' is even better. Katie and Zillah are such believable characters who make you realise how fortunate you are to have a best friend, someone who you can trust and who you know won't judge you. I rate this book 8/10.
